Food emergency service
Our food assistance service is aimed at MRC Memphrémagog residents in need. This service offers personalized food assistance, adapted to your family situation. If you need recurring assistance, your income and expenses will be discussed in greater detail during your financial evaluation.
La Dépense (food surplus)
Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to noon, the BAM distributes excess fresh food generously received from several grocery stores in Magog. Typically, we receive food such as breads, sandwiches, muffins, salads, etc. on a daily basis. To take advantage of this free service, simply come to the back of our building at 573 Sherbrooke Street.
"Feed our Children" fund
Staying in school is something worth feeding! This is why the BAM created the "Feed our Children" fund. We believe that all children should have the same opportunity to succeed.
Thanks to this fund, each child of the families supported by our food bank receives a bag containing 10 snacks to brighten their days at school. A total of 959 bags of snacks were distributed to 294 children in 2023.
