Organizing a fundraising event
We welcome initiatives from individuals or companies wishing to get involved in the form of an event or campaign to collect monetary donations to support our organization. We're always open to your ideas, so don't hesitate to share them with us!
Before getting started
Organizing an online fundraiser
Thanks to the secure Zeffy platform, you can plan a fundraiser to collect donations that will be transfered directly to The BAM. Zeffy is a free platform that sends us 100% of the funds raised. The platform finances itself through voluntary tips given at the time of donation. It's a simple and effective way to help us fight hunger at any time of the year!
The benefits
- Real-Time Donation Tracking: We provide you with a goal thermometer that allows you to see donations received in real-time.
- Automated Tax Receipts: For all donations of $20 or more, each donor will receive an official charitable tax receipt from our organization via email.
- No Travel Required: BAM receives the money directly!
How to start ?
- Choose Your Campaign: Click on one of the current campaigns below.
- Launch Your Page: On the campaign page, click the Fundraise button.
- Personalize: Create your account, set an individual or team monetary goal, and personalize your story by explaining why you support The BAM.
- Share and Collect: Share the link to your fundraising page with friends and family via social media or email. If you need promotional tools, don't hesitate to contact us.

You can organize a non-perishable food drive throughout the year, and we can support you with promotional material.

What to donate
The following foods are nutritious and, for the most part, economical. When you donate to the Memphrémagog Food Bank, you can also include treats and some more expensive foods that disadvantaged families can't usually afford. Beyond the basics, think about what you'd like to receive.
- Whole-grain cereals
- Pasta and sauces
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Healthy snacks
- Diapers and baby food
- Hygiene products (toothbrushes, toilet paper, soap, etc.)
Please note that our organization does not redistribute alcoholic beverages.
