It all began in 1991
Founded in 1991 in response to the economic crisis of the time, the BAM was born from the desire of clergy members and local stakeholders to centralize food assistance. Formerly known as Dépannage alimentaire Memphrémagog, our organization has become, over the decades, the heart of mutual aid for the citizens of this community.

Since 2005, the needs of our community have grown, rising from 2 000 to more than 5 500 food assistance interventions every year. Today, our mission remains essential.
