Yanouk Poirier joins the Memphremagog Food Bank as its new Ambassador

PRESS RELEASE - FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Magog, March 23, 2026 – The Memphremagog Food Bank (BAM) is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Yanouk Poirier as its new official ambassador. A recognized leader and man of heart, Mr. Poirier will leverage his vast network and strategic expertise to support the organization's mission: ensuring food security and upholding the dignity of citizens within the Memphremagog RCM.

A New Strategic Role for the BAM

Mr. Yanouk Poirier becomes the very first official ambassador for the BAM. This role aims to mobilize the business community and forge lasting ties between the private sector and Food Banks's social mission.

An Influential Leader Serving the Community

With over 30 years of experience in executive recruitment and leadership consulting, Yanouk Poirier is renowned for his ability to build bridges and catalyze organizational success. Firmly believing that leadership has the power to positively transform society, he embodies a human and authentic approach to business. By accepting this ambassadorial role, this family man, entrepreneur, and natural connector wishes to mobilize the business community and raise awareness about the growing challenges of food insecurity—driven by a vision where every leader can have a lasting impact on their environment.

Commitment as a Driver for Social Transformation

This is not Mr. Poirier's first social commitment. Already serving on the boards of the Saint James's Club of Montreal and the Foundation of the Institut universitaire en santé mentale, he is also a mentor and Governor at the Université de Sherbrooke. His arrival at the BAM brings a human and authentic vision, essential for promoting the organization’s values.

"Yanouk’s arrival as an ambassador marks an important milestone for us," emphasizes the management of the Memphremagog Food Bank. "His vision of leadership and his roots in the Estrie region will allow us to amplify our message and build new collaborations."
